Several times a year, ACI partners with community organizations in Cincinnati to run a pre-apprenticeship program to prepare participants for a career in the construction industry. These programs run anywhere from six to twelve weeks, and participants learn the basics of construction through the NCCER Core Curriculum, which touches on the basics of safety, hand tools, power tools, and more. This training model allows construction companies to hire from a pool of certified applicants ready for employment. Upon completing the program, students are entered into the National Registry System and receive OSHA 10 training and Bobcat Heavy Equipment training.
