Associated General Contractors (AGC) works with state agencies on regulatory matters and other business issues of importance to commercial constructors. The association files amicus briefs for court cases with significant legal implications for the construction industry. AGC of Ohio’s political action campaign, AGC Action, raises money to assist legislators and candidates to achieve statewide office who support contractors and issues affecting the commercial construction industry.

Allied Construction Industries houses the Cincinnati Division of Ohio AGC, one of the seven chapters in the state. One of the benefits of this partnership is the opportunity to have a seat at the table during discussions impacting commercial construction.

Since its establishment in 1970, AGC of Ohio has played a prominent role in representing commercial contractors. AGC of Ohio and its members strive to improve the industry by promoting fair practices, working with public and private owners to stimulate construction markets, and providing education services—all while upholding the core AGC principles: skill, responsibility, and integrity. By offering a familiar voice for the industry, the opportunity to interact with peers, and a vehicle for legislative and regulatory change, AGC of Ohio serves contractors and helps them collectively improve the commercial construction industry in Ohio.
