At Allied Construction Industries (ACI), we champion the commercial construction industry through advocacy, collaboration, and communication that strengthen our members’ voices and visibility.

ACI’s advocacy efforts focus on:

Driving policy and legislation that remove obstacles and foster growth for our industry.

Ensuring member voices are heard and represented in key policy discussions.

Promoting construction careers and the long-term health of our workforce.

Beyond legislative work, ACI leverages media outreach and publishes economic impact reports that highlight the value of commercial construction in our region. These efforts help us gain a seat at the right tables—shining a light on the industry’s contributions and creating opportunities that benefit all member companies.

As Ohio’s Associated General Contractors (AGC) official Cincinnati division, ACI both houses AGC and serves as the negotiating agency for contracts between unions and contractors. Together, AGC and ACI proudly represent both union and non-union organizations across the region.

Through this affiliation, ACI is part of a comprehensive governmental affairs program coordinated through AGC of Ohio’s committees and Board of Directors. AGC of Ohio actively lobbies and educates state legislators and elected officials on business and construction-related legislation and policy, while working with state agencies on regulatory matters critical to commercial builders.
