Economic Impact Analysis of the Cincinnati Region’s Commercial Construction Industry

We’re pleased to share with you the latest ACI Economic Impact Analysis, a report ACI commissioned to ensure our industry’s voice is heard and considered by elected officials and business and community leaders. According to the updated report, commercial construction in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) generated:

🞄 $10.2 billion in total economic activity
🞄 76,466 jobs supported across the region
🞄 $3.9 billion in earnings
🞄 $224.7 million in state and local tax revenue

These figures demonstrate that activity within our industry generates significant ripple effects across the broader economy.

This May, one of the largest construction career fairs in the nation will draw middle and high school students from around the tri-state area to the Warren County Fairgrounds, where they will explore interactive exhibits, including heavy machinery operation, excavation, welding, concrete, plaster, and many other activities, as they explore a lucrative career in the trades.
