Allied Construction Industries (ACI) was established in 1929 as the region’s largest commercial construction trade association. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was created in 1970 to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for men and women. Both groups support dedicated workers who perform important and sometimes dangerous work, focusing on outreach, education, and assistance. Together, these two organizations enjoy a history of more than half a century of collaboration and one of the first association-based Strategic Partnerships in the country.

The ACI/OSHA Partnership provides an opportunity for contractors to connect directly with OSHA to ensure the safety of their employees. It promotes a relationship of cooperative engagement with this regulatory agency. The partnership is an added benefit to member companies that demonstrate safety excellence with continuous improvement.
