Free Mental Health Education & Training
According to the Centers for Disease Control, construction has a disproportionately high suicide rate compared to other industries. Thanks to the generous support of Mercy Health, ACI continues to expand our commitment to mental health awareness by delivering valuable FREE education and training through partnerships with Mental Health America and 1N5.

Heavy Equipment Operator Classes – ACI partners with our member company, Bobcat Enterprises, to bring quality training on heavy equipment to our members at discounted prices. All classes are held at Bobcat’s training center for both Operator level and Train-the-Trainer. Advance registration through ACI is required. See classes here.

NCCER Accredited Training Center – ACI is an NCCER Accredited Training and Assessment Center. We offer Mobile Crane Operator prep courses and practice exams for certification as OSHA requires. Safety professionals seeking industry-recognized credentials can receive training support through ACI for one of NCCER’s three safety training designations:

  • Construction Site Safety Orientation (CSSO)
  • Construction Site Safety Supervisor (CSSS)
  • Construction Site Safety Technician (CSST)

AGC Safety Management Training Program – Held just once a year at ACI, the SMTC program builds on Focus Four training to prepare future Safety Managers for the challenges of running a successful company safety program and delivering basic safety training to their field workers.

Customized Training – Does your company require training on OSHA-approved subjects or need to develop job-specific skills? ACI holds open enrollment safety classes at our training center and can also arrange training for your team at your job site or another facility. Let us know how we can help you!

ACI/OSHA Safety Day Conference: Hear from safety experts and officials on new trends, policies, and more! Network with other safety and industry peers and talk to the many exhibitors about the technology and gear you need. The next safety day will be Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Location TBD.

Tri-State Area Safety Council – ACI houses the Tri-State Area Safety Council, one of more than 80 Safety Councils sponsored by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC). Members of Safety Councils enjoy quality programming on occupational safety and health, workers’ compensation, and risk management. They also can receive rebates on their BWC Compensation premiums, plus safety awards and recognition.
