Our Workforce Mission:
The mission of Allied Construction Industries (ACI) workforce solutions initiatives is to help our members close workforce and skills gaps.
Adult Education & Training
For the workforce already on the job, ACI delivers the training and certifications that keep people safe, skilled, and advancing. From Mobile Crane Operator and Rigger Signal to OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 in both English and Spanish, our programs are designed around what the industry actually needs. Our annual Safety Day Conference — now in its 26th year — is one of the region’s premier continuing education events for construction professionals. And our Leadership in Construction program develops the superintendents, foremen, and project managers who will lead the industry for the next generation.
Pre-Apprenticeships, Apprenticeships, and Career Pathways
ACI partners with the Cincinnati Zoo and community organizations to give youth hands-on construction experience through paid internships that blend classroom learning, on-site training, and community impact; building skills, confidence, and pathways to lifelong careers in the trades.
Youth Programs
ACI provides workforce solutions from classroom to careers, including one of the country’s largest construction career exploration and hiring events:
Become a Volunteer
ACI connects member companies to educators, providing opportunities for members to engage with and mentor the next generation of constructors. Find out more about how you or your organization can help become a part of the (workforce) solution.
