Helping More Women Build Long-Term Careers in Construction

The ACI She Builds Scholarship is designed to support women pursuing careers in construction and the built environment across the Cincinnati region in two important ways:
- College scholarships, supporting females who have selected careers in the full built environment, including college degrees in architecture, engineering, construction management, project management, and related fields
- Trades Education scholarships, supporting females who have selected careers that require trades education, including apprenticeship, technical training, specialty schools, trade programs, or certifications
She Builds Trades EDUCATION Scholarship
For a woman pursuing a career in the trades through apprenticeship, technical training, specialty school, or direct workforce entry.
She Builds College Scholarship
For a woman pursuing a degree within the built environment, including construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.

Commercial construction is a major driver of the Cincinnati region’s economy.
Total economic activity generated by commercial construction.
Jobs supported across the Cincinnati region.
Job earnings supported by the industry.
State and local tax revenue generated.
Women remain underrepresented in the industry. ACI is working to change that.

How Applicants Will Be Evaluated

- Relevant experience or preparation
- Leadership and initiative
- Commitment to the Cincinnati region/Tri-State area
- Strength of personal statement
- Recommendation quality
