THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS EXPLORE CAREERS IN CONSTRUCTION, HUNDREDS INTERVIEW FOR JOBS

One of the largest construction career fairs in the nation drew middle and high school students from around the tri-state area to the Warren County Fairgrounds, where they explored interactive exhibits, operated machinery, welded, poured concrete and engaged with employers to talk about a lucrative career in the skilled trades.

Allied Construction Industries engaged the University of Cincinnati Economics Center to conduct the first-ever economic analysis of the commercial construction industry in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA)(Region).

The report outlines the significant $9.2 billion impact the commercial construction industry has on our region, from earnings to tax contributions, purchases, and jobs.
